Introduced the Moog and ARP synthesisers to the UK and Europe

Created first quadraphonic pan pot. A small device to pan the sound around the room. The design went on to be developed by others and was first used by Pink Floyd.

Created the first 24 track recording studio this side of the Atlantic.

Introduced the first rock-and-roll film handling to the Advision dubbing theatre allowing film to run backward as well as forwards. A move that eliminates a rewind delay after a false start.

Created a loud speaker system adopted by Cadac which set the standard for transparency and realism in the recording environment

Designed The Mill for Producer Gus Dudgeon. The studio was to have the acoustics of the live room and control room of his two favourite locations with a uniform sonic performance.

Pioneered the first ‘presenter driven’ radio station for Beacon Radio. A design still used today.
